The geometry
The tennis court's width, 18.29 m, holds two courts placed side by side along their 9.14 m short side. The length, 36.58 m, holds two rows of courts along their 18.29 m long side. Two by two. Each pickleball court's long axis runs in the same direction as the tennis court's long axis.
There is no trimming, no overlap, and no meters to give up on any edge. The 9.14 m figure is no accident: it is what allows two courts across the width, and 18.29 m is at once the length of the pickleball court and the width of the tennis court. The tennis rectangle is made to divide this way.
Each court occupies 164.7 m² of flooring. That is the surface covered by the five rolls supplied per court, at 1.8 × 18.3 m each.
One clarification before drawing anything: those three measurements are for the playing rectangles. The clear space around each court and the separation between them come out of the area every tennis court already has beyond its lines, and that is what decides how many of the four can be played at the same time in comfort. It is a two-minute check on the club's plan, and worth doing before ordering material.
Indoor or outdoor: what changes underneath

The outdoor version carries a crystalline-sand wear layer with anti-UV treatment, a reinforcing fiberglass mesh over a PVC layer, a low-density foam layer, and an adsorbent Y-pattern backing. It is formulated against aging and against oil exudation, which is what hardens and discolors a vinyl exposed to sun and temperature cycles.
That is the reason for the higher price: layers with different jobs and a compound built to spend years in the open. If the tennis court is under a roof, the Indoor version does the same job for less money. If it is open-air, the Outdoor is the one that applies.
In both cases the flooring is a roll-out surface. It goes down over the existing concrete and can be removed and reinstalled.
Anchored or portable posts

The anchored posts are MA-3112 aluminum alloy, with V-bars welded inside. That internal structure is what carries the net tension without the post deflecting with use: the load at the center of the net exceeds 1000 N.
What decides between the two is the concrete and the club's calendar. Anchored posts need fixing points in the slab; in exchange they are the permanent solution and the cheaper one. Portable posts do not touch the slab: set them up, play, take them down. They are the option when the club has to keep offering tennis in certain time slots, when the slab is under warranty, or when the club wants to test the conversion before making it permanent.
The difference between the two, multiplied by four courts, moves the budget enough that the decision should be made with the club's schedule in front of you.

What arrives and what happens on site
Each court arrives as five rolls of 1.8 × 18.3 m. The material is 3 mm modified vinyl with a sanded surface, 3.62 kg/m². The full court set weighs 597 kg.
The work at destination has three parts. First, roll out the material and let it settle on the concrete. Second, weld the longitudinal seams between rolls: their execution is what makes the whole behave as one continuous surface. Third, mark the playing lines.
None of that requires foundations, new drainage, or modifying the slab. The tennis court is already built and already paid for; the flooring rests on that finished work. And because it can be removed and reinstalled, the conversion is not a one-way street.
